For us a fundamental moment of the day to which we dedicate time, research and a lot of love.
The constant search for raw materials and selected suppliers, the cultivation of fruit and herbs and Mediterranean scents in the Masseria.
The ‘home-made’ production of baked goods, jams, cakes, tarts and yoghurt.
Our trusted farmer who daily brings us vegetables from the garden and eggs from happy chickens.
Our freshly made natural juices
The rich and always different buffet, depending on the products and seasonality, guarantees a wide choice of sweet and savoury proposals with particular attention to those who need ‘Gluten Free’ or ‘Lactose Free’ products.
All this will make the start of your day unforgettable.
ECO-SUSTAINABILITY
For years Masseria Palane has been working towards a Green direction to protect the nature that surrounds us:
– The energy we use comes from renewable sources (solar thermal). We are committed to combating water waste through a sub-irrigation system in our garden and by asking for your cooperation in changing sheets and linen. By doing so, we optimise the use of water and also reduce the use of detergents and energy.
– The furniture in the rooms is made from natural materials
– We try to use as little plastic as possible with the aim of becoming a 100% plastic-free Masseria. For this reason, in addition to our strong commitment to waste reduction and recycling, we have reduced the use of plastic in the rooms, in the common areas, and in the daily running of our business as much as possible.
– The food you eat at breakfast and for aperitifs is always fresh, natural, seasonal and 0 km: most of the fruit comes from our organic orchard, where we do not use chemicals of any kind. The ingredients that we do not produce in the Masseria are purchased, when possible, from local producers, to support the economy of Salento and bring wellness to the table through the best of our food culture.
