Conservation and development of elements of ancient architecture Salento, vaulted eighteenth, chianche, tuffs, ancient walls whitewashed, deep cisterns to collect rainwater are just some of the many elements that bring our guests the magic of the past with the most modern comforts.

Like many others, we have been eradicated from our Northern Italian roots to start a new life and thrive in this extraordinary land, near its blue sea and sky, immersed in the silence of its ancient dry stone walls and in the green of its centennial olive trees.
Masseria Palane, whose name stems from the Palane coastal tower, is an ancient residence originally intended to be a masseria, was subsequently turned into a tobacco factory, and was eventually brought back to its original splendor thanks to a careful and detailed preservative restoration.
Situated in a quiet location only a short stroll from the sea, Masseria Palane offers relaxation and pleasure, a unique pampering opportunity in the wild and magnificent landscape of Salento.
Rooms
Masseria Palane has 6 rooms and a Depandance which is located a few steps from the main body of the Masseria. The 3 rooms called “Le Antiche Stanze” overlook the open-air Salento Court, while the 3 rooms called “Il Patio” each have a private patio overlooking the Mediterranean garden and the swimming pool. The rooms are all different from each other and finely renovated respecting the original environments, with sturdy lime walls and star vaults. Research and attention to detail give each room its own history and uniqueness. Rich in atmosphere and equipped with all comforts, our rooms will welcome you to make you feel at home.
Wellness Area
Inside Masseria Palane, you will find our Ipogea Wellness Area, available all year round, a unique place where you can reclaim your time, harmonize your senses and rediscover yourself with the sweetness of the heated, naturally salted swimming pool, carved into the rock, equipped with hydromassage and cervical blade.
The Wellness Area is also equipped with a large emotional shower and a massage area, for singles or couples, and a relaxation corner with herbal teas to complete a 360° wellness experience.
Territory
Just 3 km away, the Ionian Sea offers stunning coastal destinations such as Felloniche and San Gregorio. The area, immersed in Mediterranean scrub, is rich in native flora, including Leuca Alyssum, thyme, myrtle, and wild orchids.
Among the historical landmarks, the Church of San Michele Arcangelo (1564) and Centopietre, a National Monument dating back to 877 AD, stand out. A short distance away, the Adriatic Coast is renowned for its towering cliffs.
Santa Maria di Leuca, just 3 km away, can be reached via a scenic route through terraced olive groves. Must-visit attractions include the sea caves, while within 30 minutes, you can explore Gallipoli, Otranto, and Lecce, home to stunning Baroque treasures.
